“You are never too old to learn something new, or too young to learn too much.”

Years back I got on the back of a motorcycle as a passenger and chuckled at the idea of one day being able to ride one myself. Heavy crotch rockets were certainly something that excited me, but not enough to get over the fear of dropping one. The idea of riding them was somehow too far fetched.

Until it wasn’t.

A few months back I figured I’d get my drivers’ license for motorcycles – with the excuse of learning a new skill (although it might have been more about getting over that fear of driving one). And after my first two hour class I knew it was something that I would enjoy and that I would need a lot more hours of practice to ‘master’ as a skill. I strongly encourage anyone who’s curious about their own ability to ride motorcycles to take a course – trust me, it isn’t too far fetched as an idea and yes, you will drop it at some point but that is fine… 🙂
